About Me
Hello! I'm Logan Tolbert, a software developer based just outside Birmingham, AL. I'm fascinated by engineering systems and making different pieces of code work together seamlessly—there's something magical about how complex systems emerge from simple components working in harmony.
I thrive on challenges and get bored quickly with easy problems. While proficient in C#, my strong programming foundations allow me to adapt and pick up new languages as needed. I'm constantly exploring everything from cloud technologies and DevOps to new frameworks, driven by curiosity and a love for continuous learning.
My 15+ years as a mechanic and shop supervisor, plus earlier construction experience, taught me systematic problem-solving and how to see the big picture while managing complex moving parts—skills that translate perfectly to software development and system architecture.
When I'm not coding, I'm playing heavy metal guitar (recently got back into it after letting life get in the way) or gaming across all genres except sports and racing. Both challenge me in different ways and keep my problem-solving skills sharp.
I'm always open to new opportunities and connections. Whether you're interested in discussing a project or just having a conversation, feel free to reach out through my contact page.
